Dear Friends ! Welcome to the website of the Department of Radiology, (Radio-Diagnosis and Interventional Radiology) Government Medical College, Nagpur. This is a humble endeavor to reach out to all of you, friends, colleagues , past students, patients and everyone else.

          The basic idea behind building this website was dissemination of information and knowledge to one and all regarding the various investigations and Interventional procedures carried out at our department. We also wish to share some interesting and unusual cases we come across here. And finally we hope that we can reach out to all our alumni through this medium.

           All major diagnostic and interventional procedures are carried out here. The department boasts of being one of the busiest departments of the hospital with around 3000 CT scans, 25000 USG exams and 180000 conventional studies (plain-radiographs and special investigations) being carried out each year. The department is placed in the heart of the hospital and is the central hub of activity. It is well equipped with a CT Scanner, USG and Doppler Machines, an Image Intensifier Coupled with Video SVHS System and an array of X-Ray Machines. The procedures are carried out by a team of experienced doctors, young enthusiastic residents spearheaded by an innovative and dynamic leader.
